PROFFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Art Instructor with the City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department.  Classes include Advanced Painting, Open Studio, all levels of Oil Painting, Acrylic Painting, Watercolors, and Drawing, as well as Figure Drawing, Multi-Media, surface Preparation workshops, and private classes.

Special Projects

  • Donated work for display and a fund raising art auction in the North Carolina Museum of Art, Raleigh, NC.

2011

  • Coordinated and volunteered on a multi-site, public and interactive display
    of residents' art work based on a theme using old suitcases through
    non-profit  InterAct, Raleigh, NC.

2010

  • Works donated to LoDi Project Gallery to help raise over $750 for Haiti   
    relief efforts.

2010

  • Worked with the Nature and Education Departments of the City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation which helped to expand the arts curriculum within their budgets. Developed dioramas for the Brookhaven Nature Park resulting in $5,000.00 of allotted supplemental funding
